Gradient Letters!

It’s time for a lettering tutorial! I find hand lettering practice super relaxing and I spend a lot of time tracing letters, not just to improve my accuracy and muscle memory, but also to take my mind off things and to improve my mental health.

Some Procreate brushes are easier to use than others, and trying out different brushes can make a huge difference to your progress.

And then of course, Procreate continues to add new brush making features to the app, which enables the creation of even more interesting brushes.

Most recently I’ve been experimenting with dual color gradient brushes - and they are so much fun to use!

You first need to pick 2 different colors, and then the brush creates this beautiful gradient - it’s so nice! It’s actually hard to describe how nice it is - you’ll have to see for yourself!

I’ve put this short video together for you to show you my new brush set of 3D Gradient brushes :)

And then I’ve also made new practice sheets! ? It’s a bouncy elegant lettering style that really lends itself to be used with the gradient brushes, and will give you more reasons to use the new brushes.
