Procreate 5.3 is here!

One of the reasons why I was particularly keen on getting the new M2 iPad was because of the cool Apple Pencil Hover features in Procreate. If you have watched my M2 iPad review video, you would have seen my hesitation when I tried the new feature in Procreate, because it didn't really add anything special - yet!!

But now Procreate 5.3 is here - and of course I want to tell you all about it :)

There are a number of really useful improvements thanks to the Apple Pencil Hover capability that make the M2 iPad totally worth it! It's a bit like the 2 finger tap undo - once you get used to it, you don't want to live without it (and you inadvertently do it when you draw with pen and paper too)

By far my favorite new feature is the pinch-zoom brush size adjustment gesture - it works soooo well. And there's more! I've put together a short video to show you everything that's new - click on the thumbnail below to watch now:

Procreate 5.3 will work on any iPad that runs on iPadOS 15.4.1 or later, however, the new gestures that require Apple Pencil Hover capability are exclusive to the M2 iPads.
