The first ever Neuland Script brush for Procreate is available now and I couldn't be happier with it!! Here’s a few tips how to use it:
1) Make sure you have your canvas absolutely straight. The brush makes thick (vertical) downstrokes. For the horizontal strokes you’ll need to rotate the canvas 90 degrees.
2) The brush is pressure sensitive, but instead of changing the stroke thickness, it changes the amount of color applied to the canvas. So you can achieve the ‘running out of ink’ look by gradually applying less pressure.
3) I made this lettering piece by using one of my watercolor templates (that’s where the background texture is coming from)
4) Try using different colors to see how you can achieve different effects
I will also make a video to show you how to use the brush as soon as I get to it :)
